Being a part of a blessing!

This blog is set up to be a tribute to General (Alberto) and Lucy Morales. They have been a huge blessing to countless lives. They have touched so many people, generation after generation, after generation. They have been faithful servants to God and to Bethel Temple, Chicago, Illinois, for many years. They are currently still serving as Ranger Senior Commander and Missionette Coordinator, as well as on staff for Bethel Youth Camp and Retreat Center. They held many positions at their church, some may remember them as C.A. leaders, Sunday school staff, and on church board positions. General was also the designated "van driver" for many years.
Because of their love in Christ they were able to pour their love into others! Together, General and Lucy have opened their hearts, their home, and their wallets to anybody that was in need. Some gifts given where made known and to some they will never know because they were given anonymously. They have blessed many people spiritually, physically, and financially. Now it's time to bless them back!
General and Lucy have come upon tough times these last couple of years. Many do not know what they are going through because they chose not to tell many people, that was their decision they made together. Now things are getting tougher and we must step in and show our appreciation to them.
General has been sick with diabetes for a good part of his life and it has gotten worse for this body. Lucy was not working for at least 2 years and after many many applications finally has a job. They did not have any medical insurance and the medical bills as well as prescriptions are taking it's toll on the Morales family. General has not been working for the last 5 months because his vision is almost completely gone. His vision has been deteriorating over the last years and has worked all that he could. If you know General and how stubborn he can be he stayed till they practically kicked him out!
Together we can help General and Lucy Morales in their time of need. They have not asked for any assistance from anyone but God, and certainly did not ask for this blog to be put up as a tribute! It is time to bless General and Lucy Morales back because they have given out so many blessings to others.
